يتجنّب الشّخص الكاذب عادةً استخدام كلمة " أنا " ويقول بدلاً منها: نحن، أو يستخدم الضمير نا، فيقول مثلاً ذهبنا، وبينما وهو يتحدّث عن نفسه.
